Prototyping
TekFast has the capability to build prototype tools quickly. These tools are capable of producing a limited quantity of production intent parts. Prototype parts can be used to test application requirements in the field. Rapid prototyping through SLS or SLA is also available. These parts can be produced within a week, but cannot be used for functional testing. They work well to better show design ideas and fit testing.
ITW TekFast Engineering has the capability to test prototype and production parts for design requirements.
We have the capability to test clips for tube and panel fastener insertion/removal in a tensile tester. Environmental ovens are on hand to test parts at various temperatures. Impact testing is also available.
